Going to far?Godaddy shut down a a website and the owner recorded the call to the ABUSE department. During the course of the conversation the Godaddy employee reveales that he reviewed all the sites the ower had registered with them, no suprises. He then informs the domain owner that he can’t even link to sites that violate GoDaddy TOS and that he needs to review one of his sites.

I didn’t visited the site that was suspended, but I kind of agree with GoDaddy. A site that is dedicated to promote bad contents do not respect most hosting companies AUP. For exemple, if I had a site on which a right “Here is the top 10 child pornography sites”, can I say that I have anything to do with it and that I respect that AUP has I do not host child pornography? I hope they won’t abuse, but there is a certain control that hosting companies should have…
