Yahoo Expands Alliance with Blackberry

Yahoo Inc. said Wednesday it is expanding its alliance with Blackberry maker Research in Motion Ltd. to offer more of its search and e-mail services via the portable messaging device. The companies plan to introduce “Yahoo Go for Mobile” for use on Blackberries, combining a range of Yahoo’s most popular services into one product. The new product will give Blackberry users full access to Yahoo with a single click on an icon. The companies are also looking to add more options for Blackberry users who also have Yahoo e-mail accounts, provide a Yahoo search option on Blackberries and expand Yahoo’s instant-messaging services to Blackberry users worldwide.Read more…
