Looks like Google Talk on a Web-based interface is online. Here’s what the unofficial Google Blog posted :

Well, I can’t get in to review this thing, apparently, until the initial rush dies down. But the splash page is
beautiful! Gtalkr is Google Talk on a Web-based interface. An anonymous reader
writes that Gtalkr fills in some of the missing pieces of the desktop Google Talk, such as conversation searching, and
starring as in Gmail. Anyone using it— please comment your experience. I’ll post more when I can get in.

Bill Gates seems to be out of new ideas, according to eWeeks.com, Microsoft has plans to launch an online marketplace similar to Google Base code-named Fremont.Fremont is a free service in which people contribute listings, whether it’s about a couch for sale or someone looking for a commuting partner. Microsoft plans to index each item, thereby adding it to the results from using Microsoft’s Internet search engine.You can get a glimpse of Fremont by going to fremont.live.com.
